Encashment of earned leave along-with Leave Travel Concession

Government of Punjab, Department of Finance(Finance personnel II Branch) vide its letter No.1/16/12011-3FP2/617 Dated: Chandigarh, 3rd October 2011 issued instructions regarding encashment of 'ten days' earned leave on availing leave travelling concession. for encashment of ten days earned leave conditions are as follows:-
  • Encashment of earned leave only allowed once, during the Leave travelling concession block of 4 years.
  • Encashment of earned leave shall be limited to the extent of 60 days in entire service.
  • Encashment of earned leave shall not be deducted from the maximum of earned leave encashable at the time of retirement.
  • Encashment of leave shall be admissible without any linkage to the number of and nature of leave availed for LTC.
  • If both husband and wife are government employees, encashment of earned shall be admissible to both of them subject to maximum condition of 60 days in entire service career.
