Before promotion to the post of Clerk from among the Group-D employees, there should be a provision for qualifying type test, as prescribed by the Government for the post of Clerk on computer, to be conducted by the competent authority or the Department of Information Technology at a speed of 30 words per minute both in Punjabi and English."
Every department will conduct a type test in Punjabi and English of group D employees who wants to get promotion as Clerk. Probation of an employee who is promoted on the post of clerk will be cleared only if he passed the course of 120 hours in the use of Personal computer within one year from the date of promotion.
These instructions will also apply on the group C employees whose pay scale is less than the pay scale of Clerk. For further information download instructions

ReplyDeleteACP Will be given only if an employee has completed 4,9 or 14 years of service on same post means if he is not promoted. In your case if he has already completed 4,9 or 14 years of service before promotion then he is entitled to acp.
